Paul Davis also says, "I started publishing comics with my best friend in the seventh grade in a tiny redneck town in central Florida. My friend created Cat-Man. We drew each comic with a No. 2 pencil on notebook paper (yes, the characters all had blue lines running through them). We sold them for a nickel, mostly to the same kid, Butch Huff. That was when comics were profitable. I grew up, sort of, and got a job as a reporter for a major northeast newspaper. Then I started publishing comics again." - I gotta see this Cat-Man! I have asked Paul to try and dig some up. If he does I gotta put that up here! |
